We’re adding a second Boreal Snowshoe Expedition session in 2016. It’s our winter bushcraft immersion; a twelve day traditional northern winter wilderness living and travel expedition. We’re on the trail living on snowshoes, hauling our gear on toboggans, staying in woodstove-outfitted canvas tents and learning to be at home and comfortable in the bitter cold.
Session 1 – February 1 – 12, 2016
Session 2 – February 22 – March 4, 2016
We’ve also changed the date of the originally scheduled BSE, moving it up a week.
2016 marks our 17th year running snowshoe, toboggan and hot tent winter expeditions. Over the past few years we’ve seen an increase in interest in winter expeditions, and we’re adding the second session as a result of the first session being completely full five months before it starts.
