This Sunday marks the first in our series of workshops on sustainability. We’ll be building a lasagna garden bed, which is an effective way to turn a section of lawn into a food production zone in less than an hour. We’ll meet at 2pm and put together a lasagna bed or two, then plant them right away. It should be fun and informative.
There is no charge for our sustainability workshops, but there is a suggested donation of $10 per family to the G.A.L.A. Center. G.A.L.A. is a Wolfeboro-based nonprofit organization aiming to provide a networking & resource hub for people who are working towards adopting a more sustainable lifestyle.
