Jack Mountain In Parents Magazine

Parents Magazine

This month (October) Jack Mountain is featured in an article titled “Could You Handle An Emergency?” by Michelle Crouch.  The article deals with how to handle a variety of emergencies.  Our short blurb focuses on what to do if attacked by a black bear when hiking.  For those who want the short answer, it’s to fight back and hope for the best.  For those who want to explore the topic in depth, check out the book Bear Attacks: Their Causes And Avoidance by Stephen Herrero.

Anything that appears to be an error in spelling or grammar is actually the author’s clever use of the vernacular, and as such is not an error, but rather a carefully placed literary device demonstrating prodigious artistic prowess.
