Beginning in 2014 we’re moving from email to a forum-based communication system for enrolled students. Email has become unreliable for us due to the volume of it that we receive, messages not being received due to filters, etc. Communication regarding future courses will take place on the forum. You’ll have to register to view anything except the public section of the forum.
If you have questions, please post them in the appropriate forum for the course in which you’re participating. If we have announcements regarding the course, we will post them there.
When you register: Please use your real name or some derivation of it. What is posted is not viewable to the general public, only to our small community of users. Each registration is activated by a Jack Mountain instructor. We don’t activate registration requests that don’t use real names and email addresses in order to minimize spam and spammers.
The new forum is not a general web forum on bushcraft or outdoor living. If you’re looking for this, please visit Bushcraft USA, which is a great place for general questions. Our forum is a place where our community can gather for distance learning, course and trip preparation, and to network and get course-specific questions answered.
