The registration deadline for our summer and fall courses recently passed. We’ve done a poor job of communicating what this actually means.
You can still register for all of our courses as long as the Registration Status on our calendar is Open. We started this system of registration deadlines years ago so that we knew whether a course met the minimum enrollment to run it, thus allowing people coming from far away plenty of lead time to make travel arrangements, and also to know when we would be available for private courses and trips. Now years have gone by and we’ve outgrown it, so it’s time for something new.
To avoid confusion moving forward, we’re starting a new policy this fall, to begin in November. It consists of four registration statuses.
- Early Registration: 10% tuition discount until early registration date.
- Regular Registration: Regular tuition, until registration deadline.
- Late Registration: 10% tuition Increase after registration deadline, space available.
- Closed: We’re not accepting any more people.
Early, Regular and Late will replace Open in the registration status column beginning this fall. So if you’re thinking about taking one of our courses or joining us for a trip, register early and save 10%.
