The Churn: Several Spots Now Available For Summer 2023

We filled our spring and summer courses exceptionally early this year, and now we’re into the season of the churn. The churn is what I refer to as the season where people realize they will be unable to attend due to injury, change in life situation, etc.

To date this year we have lost 2 people who need surgeries for past injuries. As a result we have had a spot open up on the 6-Month Expedition Instructor program. This means there is also a spot open for the Wilderness Canoe Expedition Semester and a spot on the summer Wilderness Bushcraft Semester, the first two components of the XI.

We have also added dates to the calendar for the Summer Woodsman course, running from August 6 – 12.

If you are interested in one of our programs, even if the website says it is full, fill out the registration form but don’t send us a deposit. This gets you into our system and onto a waiting list. If a spot opens up, we’ll get in touch with you.

Anything that appears to be an error in spelling or grammar is actually the author’s clever use of the vernacular, and as such is not an error, but rather a carefully placed literary device demonstrating prodigious artistic prowess.
