We’ve finalized the details for our 2020 trip to Ouje-bougoumou in northern Quebec to spend time with our Cree friends David and Anna Bosum. The trip will take place the first week of March, and while not a course in the traditional sense, participants gain some great insight into living on the land. On past trips, we’ve carved snow shovels, helped run a trap line, and seen moose hides tanned. Getting the opportunity to learn from David and Anna is pretty high on my list of life experiences, and I’m excited to be bringing another group up early next year.
The trip details are all on the trip page below, but here’s the quick information. The trip will run from the 29th of February to the 7th of March and will cost $1300 per person. The cost of the trip does not include travel, but we’ll be facilitating carpooling to save on gas, hotels, etc as the trip gets closer.
This trip is limited to ten people, and we’ve already got close to half of that, so if you’re interested contact us soon. These trips always fill up fast, and it’s not hard to see why.
