Chain Saw and Crosscut Saw Training Course Book

Lee Valley Tools is a woodworking product supplier who offers reprints of classic books. One I recently picked up is their “Chain Saw and Crosscut Saw Training Course”, a reprint of a US Forest Service publication. It’s a great complement to some of the books on axes in our bibliography. I like it because it helps to round out the picture of all the things that can go wrong when felling and sectioning trees, as well as explaining safe use and procedures for the chain saw. Add in sections on how to care for and sharpen saws and you’ve got a great resource.
You can find out more about this book on Lee Valley’s website.

Typos, Etc.
Anything that appears to be an error in spelling or grammar is actually the author’s clever use of the vernacular, and as such is not an error, but rather a carefully placed literary device demonstrating prodigious artistic prowess.
