Too Many Communication Channels To Keep Up With, Time To Simplify

After struggling to keep up with a wide variety of different communication channels over the last few years, I’ve decided that it’s too much and have decided to simplify the channels I stay current with.

Social media messages, email, texts, comments, messenger, whatsapp, etc. – it all adds up. These days every website seems to have its own direct message communication service. After playing the game poorly for several years, I have determined that I can’t keep up with 20 communication channels, so I’m simplifying things. I will no longer be monitering or replying to any messages except email, phone and Signal.

From our ‘Contact Us‘ page, a link to which is on the top right of every page of our website.

Signal. You can find me on signal through my phone number.

A few notes:

Phone: If you want to contact me via phone, leave a short voicemail. I’ve been conditioned to not answer my phone unless I know Who is calling (or closer to the truth, my phone recognizes the number). You might be in the same boat, where you also receive 10 calls per day about auto warranties, political crap, etc. Its just no longer a good use of my time or attention. But if you leave me a voicemail message I’ll get back to you as soon as is practical.

Timing: We are often off the grid, sometimes for weeks at a time. If you don’t hear back from us right away, this is almost always the reason. We will get back to you upon our return to modern communication systems. Thank you for your patience.
