On the Wilderness Canoe Expedition Semester we cooked a campfire dinner using the outdoor kitchen at the Guide Shack. Dutch oven chicken, Dutch oven pork, grilled pork chops, lentils in the thermal cooker and rice on a rocket stove. It turned out great.

Love the Rocket stove! I need to get to your content about the cooking! We tend to bring frozen steaks for our first night on our little out-and-abouts. Any chance we can, we use foraged seasonings……I wish we had wild rosemary on the Missouri….
I like to put yarrow leaves on steaks or chicken as a seasoning. Thanks for the comment.
