Had a busy day in the office with our office manager. We were going over enrollment for 2017 and talking about past and future students. There was a period of time when she was looking through the enrollment paperwork and asked me if I knew/remembered person X, Y, Z, etc., and for each I said, “Great person,” or “Love them.” After ten minutes of this I stopped and thought about it.
I’m incredibly thankful for the amazing people I have had the good fortune to work with. I tell our alumni that if there’s ever anything I can do for them, let me know. I mean it.
I’ve written a bunch of reference letters over the years for colleges, jobs, etc., and spent more than a few hours on the phone with potential schools and employers. I’m happy to do it. We spend a lot of time together on our courses, and get to know each other pretty well. The beauty of our small course size is the relationships that are built.
For the vast majority of people who come through Jack Mountain, I’m incredibly proud to know and have worked with you. I’m the most fortunate guy in the world.
