We’re into the thick of our summer programming, having finished up the spring semester and the Summer Woodsman course. Currently we’ve got four spots remaining for the fall 2021 Wilderness Bushcraft Semester. It’s going to be a great course this year, and I’m already looking forward to to the warm days and crisp nights of fall. If you want one of those spots get in touch with us.
The moose in the photo has been hanging around the field school lately. The other day on the Summer Woodsman course we were in Moose Vegas and it walked right past the shower and into the corner of the field, about 20 yards from the group. We weren’t being quiet or anything, but it walked right on by anyway. Other recently wildlife sightings include a baby black bear, who rivals the baby beaver as possibly the cutest critter in the woods, and a bunch of deer who have been lounging in the big field.

Tim, where in Masardis is your school? I have a camp in Oxbow and have never seen you guys out and about. Just curious……thanks!
We’re on the Garfield road in Masardis, #1058. We try to keep a low profile and spend most of our time on our 83 acres or at campsites you can only get to by water.
