Filming, Day 3

We had another busy day filming yesterday. We started in the morning ice fishing out on the lake. It was dead for a while, then we caught a nice bass. Afterwards we were back in the woods. I went into the woods off of the trail at one point and sunk into the snow up to my waist. Thinking I wouldn’t sink anymore, I started to lift my foot up and sank down another ten inches and got my boot wedged between two sticks. It almost slipped off as I tried to lift it out of the hole. I was able to free it, but only after two minutes of slow wiggling to free it. Our topics in the woods were focused on the plants and other resources, as well as continuing the instruction on survival. It was another great day.

Last night the weather changed and a storm with lots of rain blew in. Hopefully it will melt enough snow to make getting around in the woods easier.
