After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that this fall will be our last fall semester for a few years. While they’ve been very successful and have been a life-changing experience for our students, they are also a difficult period of separation for my family. While this has been challenging for my wife and I in the past, it’s now challenging for my 2 children as well. As a father, I’ve decided that being away from home for extended lengths of time isn’t the best thing for them. It’s time to retire the semester programs for a while and stay closer to home, or at least to be gone for shorter periods of time until my kids are older.
So if you’ve been thinking about taking a long-term course with us, this will be your last chance for a few years. We’ll continue to run weeklong programs and some multi-week summer programs, but not our full semester immersion programs.
Registration for the yearlong program and the fall wilderness bushcraft semester is open until June 1st.

So I am unavailable for attendance until mid september, if not later… I have been an avid proponent for your school, and looking to become a part of it for a few years now. What do you suggest, as I see the opportunity of this course to be invaluable.
great post as usual!
