JMB Vlog 216 | Wet Wet Wet Weather Fire, Spring 26

Melting snow and day after day of rain make for challenging fire lighting conditions, and that’s what we’re in the middle of now in Aroostook county, Maine. Everything is soaked. If you can light a one-match fire under these conditions, you know how to do something useful and valueable. Today we’re working on just that; wet wet wet (the second two wets are added for emphasis) weather fire lighting. It’s conditions like this where an axe shines. In skilled hands, it gives us access to the only dry wood in the forest, which is 15 feet in the air in the center of dead standing trees.

Typos, Etc.
Anything that appears to be an error in spelling or grammar is actually the author’s clever use of the vernacular, and as such is not an error, but rather a carefully placed literary device demonstrating prodigious artistic prowess.
