It has snowed off and on for the last five days, and as I’m writing this it is -6 degrees F and there is 8 inches of fresh snow on the ground. Winter has definitely arrived, and I’m getting excited for winter programs in February. This photo was taken a while back, showing a line of people hauling toboggans across a frozen lake on the Boreal Snowshoe Expedition. in 2024, we’re offering the BSE and the Winter Woodsman. Currently they are both about half full. With our winter programs we have a hard limit on how many people we can take based on how many people we can get into our hot tents. So if you’re interested in exploring winter with us in the new year, keep this in mind.
