As of today the Riverman course in July is full. We still have a few spots left for the summer woodsman and fall Wilderness Bushcraft Semester course, but they won’t last long.

Our big news is that we will no longer be running folk school programs at our location in New Hampshire as we’re selling the property. This will have an effect on the Yearlong Immersion Program (YIP). We designed the YIP around the existing property, in order to provide housing during the winter months when not in the field. As we will no longer own the property, the plans for the course are no longer viable. As such, we’re cancelling the 2019-2020 YIP.

Note that this will have no effect on the field school or programs we run there. This will only effect the folk school programs that we ran in New Hampshire.

I will definitely miss Rust Pond and the surrounding woods, but the time has come to let it go.

We will be relocating our folk school programs to northern Maine near the field school, and will hopefully have the YIP back on the calendar for 2020-2021.
